The Islamic Golden Age - The Rise and Fall of Baghdad
Responding to demand, we developed and delivered these sessions during the summer of 2021. There was already a large stock of relevant artefacts in the collection, and we have added to them. We initially concentrate on Baghdad in the Islamic Golden Age, before looking at the Mongols, Genghis Khan, and the conquest of the city in AD 1258 by Hulagu Khan.
