The Islamic Golden Age - The Rise and Fall of Baghdad

A very popular subject. We initially concentrate on Baghdad in the Islamic Golden Age, before looking at the Mongols, Genghis Khan, and the conquest of the city in AD 1258 by Hulagu Khan. We use lots of artefacts and the model siege engine is a delight.
